I believe that the time has come when 300 million smartphones out of one billion connections in India are going to be the biggest territory of feature films.
14 years back, we thought of shooting a short film on a mobile phone and the film was half shot in Noida and half in New York. This successful amalgamation gave birth to the idea of starting a film festival encouraging films shot exclusively on Cellphones.
In today’s era Cellphone has become a wonderful tool to learn the different aspects of film making. International Festival of Cinema has brought a unique change in film making by inviting innovative ideas and encouraging creativity all around the globe.
Delightfully, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), through International Festival of Cellphone Cinema is working relentlessly towards the growth of Media and Entertainment Industry and Promotion of Art and Culture all over the World.
