Hindi Cinema Samman The National Award to Distinguished Personalities

Noida, December 23, 2024 – The 17th Global Film Festival Noida (GFFN) 2024 celebrated the Hindi film industry’s excellence by presenting the prestigious Hindi Cinema Samman awards at Marwah Film City. This accolade has become one of the most esteemed national honors in Hindi cinema, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, founder of Marwah Studios and President of GFFN, emphasized the award’s significance: “The Hindi Cinema Samman has emerged as a beacon of recognition for outstanding talent and dedication in our film industry. This year’s honorees included:

Hindi Cinema Gaurav:Suchitra Pillai: Renowned actress and model,  Preeti Mamgain: Acclaimed writer and actress, Gagan Deep Singh: Esteemed film producer, Thakur Anoop Singh: Actor and fitness icon, Royal Manjot Singh: Noted film director.

Hindi Cinema Samarthak: H.E. Juan Antonio March Pujol, Ambassador of Spain to India, for his unwavering support and promotion of Hindi cinema internationally.

Accepting the Hindi Cinema Samarthak award, H.E. Juan Antonio March Pujol expressed his admiration for Hindi cinema: “Hindi films have a unique charm that resonates beyond borders. In Spain, we cherish the rich narratives and vibrant artistry of Indian cinema. This honor strengthens the cultural bridge between our nations.”

The ceremony was attended by a large gathering of film and television personalities from India and abroad, underscoring the global appeal and influence of Hindi cinema. The event featured film screenings, panel discussions, and cultural performances, celebrating the industry’s rich heritage and its impact on world cinema.

The Hindi Cinema Samman awards, initiated by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) in 2017, have grown in prominence, bringing together key figures from the Hindi film industry to celebrate artistic brilliance and cultural impact. The awards aim to honor stalwarts whose work continues to shape the legacy of Hindi cinema.
